Lets Save A Bunch of Money In 2011
Okay, so getting a new phone (an Evo that is obviously smarter than I) and noticing it's capabilities of being able to notify me of sales 24/7, combined with the fact that there are many, many "daily deal" sites popping up all over the place, has made me rethink this blog thing. The "shopping frenziest" time of the year prompted me to use a bunch of those daily deal offers and I saved a ton of money and got A LOT of stuff that I wanted to purchase anyway. This being said, there are a few steps to go through to make the most of this system.....I thought I would kick off a new year by re-starting my blogging but with more specific, money-saving, tutorial type posts. Just like before I will also post any super online/brick & mortar sales that I find. There are bunches!! To kick things off, there will be a drawing on Jan. 5 for a hand held Foodsaver vacuum sealer. Kids Eat Free @ IHOP
IHOP is giving families a treat this year! But you've only got a few more days to take advantage. Through September 13 kids eat free at IHOP every single night. (from 4pm to 10pm). This is a nice promotion because it's just the time of year parents could use a night off. But with purse strings duly tightened it's tough to schedule as many evenings out as we might like. Now IHOP's come to the rescue, with a giveaway they say will let families "break out of their routine without breaking the bank." The skinny is that every night through September 13, families can score a free kid's meal with each adult entree purchased, for children 12 and under. You'll need to dine in, and the deal's only available at participating locations, so be sure to call first before you make your dinner plans.
